Firstly, we hope you are alright, safe and sound!
Secondly, if damage occurs to the trailer during your rental period, you must notify Freetrailer in the app upon return or by contacting Customer Service.
If the damage is so severe that the trailer cannot be returned to the pick-up point, make sure that the trailer is emptied and locked, then inform Freetrailer of the exact location (preferably from Google Maps) and what has happened. It is important that you ensure that it is not a nuisance to traffic.
If a third party is the cause of the damage, it is important that we also get all the information about this: name, address, contact information, car registration number, insurance company, etc.

It is important that you place and park the Freetrailer legally and ensure that it is not a nuisance to the traffic. It is your responsibility that the trailer is legally parked until it is picked up. We will refund any costs, as long as our Trailer Service can confirm the damage at pick-up.
Please note that our Trailer Service must be able to determine the error, which is the reason for your non-return. If they cannot, you will pay for the return (hourly rate and driving costs) as well as rent until it is back at the pick-up point.
