Freetrailer Group A/S has landed a four-year partnership with Byggmax Group AB. The agreement means that the number of rental locations in Sweden is significantly expanded by 38% to 469 locations and the number of trailers is increased by more than 37% to +1,463 trailers.
From 1 March 2023, Freetrailer will take over the existing fleet of 395 loan trailers at 130 of Byggmax’s locations in Sweden and five locations in Denmark. The framework agreement between Freetrailer Group A/S and Byggmax Group AB is for a minimum of 400 trailers and can be extended to 800 trailers. Freetrailer will continuously replace Byggmax’s existing fleet with new trailers.
We are now replacing all their trailers and increasing the number at the same time. In this way, we can help increase the service level of the chain's Swedish customers, says Johan Wijkander, Country Manager for Freetrailer in Sweden.
Nicolai Frisch Erichsen, Interim CEO of Freetrailer, sees the agreement as a clear strengthening of Freetrailer’s position in the Swedish market:

The full financial impact of the agreement will only be reflected in the financial year 23/24.
