You must lock the trailer using the provided lock and lockbox. Ensure the locking pin is installed behind the handle so the lockbox is securely fastened.
Can’t lock the trailer?
If you are unable to lock the trailer when returning your Freetrailer, attach the lock as securely as possible to the lockbox.
Have you completed the return process but cannot unlock the lock, or is the lock simply not working? Place the lock on or near the lockbox.
The lock can only be opened with Bluetooth and location services. It cannot be remotely unlocked. Do not use a different lock; leave the Freetrailer unlocked instead.
If you have lost the lock and lockbox but find them later, you can return them to the rental location.
Take a photo and send it to our email with your order number as a reference.
You must still return the trailer through the app.
We will report the issue to our service department, who will resolve it as soon as possible.
