On select locations, our partners have a gate, which means you have to pick-up and return the Freetrailer within a certain time of day.
It is not possible to return the trailer outside operating hours. If you are delayed, you will have to wait until the next morning, when our partner opens again. It is not possible to receive a passcode for the gate.
In some cases, you will receive an SMS with instructions on how to open the gate outside opening hours.
If your return the Freetrailer at the beginning of the next day, you will not be charged anything, as long as you have extended your booking in our app.
If you leave the Freetrailer stranded outside the gate, please note you will be charged a fee of DK/SE/NO kr. 300,- and DE €40, as our trailerservice will have to move the trailer back to the correct place.
