If you are having problems getting one or both wheels turning, here are some tips:
- Always make sure the handbrake is released completely and the handle is in a straight forward position. Sometimes wriggling it a bit helps to make sure it has released entirely.
- Try to back up a short distance with the trailer attached. Should the wheels have locked up, backing the trailer a few yards should help making the wheels turn again.
- If it’s really cold, the brakes might freeze up. Hitting the bolts on the wheel with a hammer or similar, should loosen up the wheels again.
In case the handbrake is stuck, try to move it back and forth 5-10 times, and supply with some of the tips above.
NB! If the wheels cannot move freely, do not depart! This is considered intentional misuse, and is not covered by our insurance.
Contact our customer service, and we’ll attempt to switch to another trailer for you. If there is no capacity, we will cancel any fees regarding your order.
