Freetrailer uses AltaPay as payment solutions provider. AltaPay is SSL compliant and PCI certified. This means your payment information is stored and secured after the highest standards.
When renting a trailer from Freetrailer, we use SSL to ensure the communication between customer, Freetrailer and AltaPay is encrypted. This also secures, that only AltaPay can read your credit card information.
Please note, that we are obliged to store the information of our customers for 5 years, due to governmental reporting issues, taxes, etc.
When do you withdraw funds?
Your credit card is registered when ordering. When returning the Freetrailer, we’ll charge your card, if applicable, for the booking fee, insurance and and payment for any damage, theft, extra rent or fee for late delivery.
The charge is made once. However, we reserve the right to make additional charges for any parking fines and / or major damages that require further investigation.
