The person picking up the Freetrailer must enter the phone number and email address in the app. This is how we identify any of your bookings. The person driving the freetrailer also needs to posses a valid driving licence.
Since we identify bookings by email address / phone number, you can use any smartphone with the Freetrailer app installed to pick up a trailer. It does not need to be the same phone that reserved the freetrailer. You just have to log in with the same account.
When borrowing a freetrailer, you must enter the registration number of the car that will be driving the freetrailer. If you change your car during the journey, please send us an email, quoting the order number as a reference.
At pick-up, you must enter the driving license number of the person who will be driving the freetrailer. If there is another driver who will also drive the freetrailer, his/her driving license number must be entered, too. Only the two persons listed on the rental contract may drive the freetrailer.
what if I need to change any of the information that is needed for renting?
If you need to change the driver during the journey, please send us an email, quoting the order number as a reference.
If you enter the wrong contact details or need to change them, send us an e-mail at info@freetrailer.com or contact customer support. We will then correct the information.
