Returning a Freetrailer at a Location with a Gate

Some of our partner locations have a gate, which means that you need to pick up and return the trailer during the partner’s opening hours.

It is not possible to return the trailer outside opening hours. If you are delayed, you must wait until the location reopens the next day. In this case, please extend your rental in the Freetrailer app. Otherwise, a late-return fee will be charged in addition to the applicable rental charges.

Gate access codes are generally not available outside opening hours unless you have received specific instructions by text message.

If you leave the Freetrailer outside the gate, a service fee will be charged, as our trailer service team will need to move the trailer back to its designated location.
