Freetrailer Group A/S has signed an updated five-year framework agreement with Mio, one of Sweden’s leading furniture and home furnishing retailers. The agreement strengthens the long-standing partnership and establishes Freetrailer as Mio’s exclusive trailer rental partner, including a gradual transition of Mio’s own trailer fleet to Freetrailer’s fully managed solution.
Founded in 1962, Mio is one of Sweden’s most established furniture and home furnishing retailers, with more than 70 stores nationwide.
Freetrailer currently operates 145 trailers across 41 Mio locations in Sweden. Under the updated agreement, Mio will gradually replace its existing self-operated trailers with Freetrailer’s integrated solution, combining digital booking, trailer rentals, maintenance and customer service in one scalable platform.
The agreement reinforces Freetrailer’s position in Sweden and creates opportunities for further fleet expansion within an established retail network.
