If the trailer will not detach from the hook of the car, try this guide:
The guide requires 2 people. One that holds the handle and one that raises the trailer.
1. Push the tab on the handle in, and slide the handle up and down, to release the ball coupling from the car
Or press this downwards:
2. Drive the nose wheel down to the ground while holding up the handle, the pin inside and trying to release the ball clutch
3. Repeat step 2 a number of times, slowly raising the trailer with the nose wheel until the ball coupling comes loos
4. If the nose wheel does not provide enough power, you can also use a jack.
